Pastor Tony "Big Slim" Hayes is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. He is the pastor of Jabez Christian Center as well as an author and writer, performer and Gospel music producer. He has a passion for winning souls and serving his community and has been preaching and teaching the Gospel for over 26 years and continues to represent Christ, inspiring others along the way. Big Hayes is a soldier in the Army of the Lord.

 

Pastor Tony Hayes graduated from Shaw University with a degree in Religion and Philosophy. He has written two books entitled “Don’t Hate Celebrate" and Numbers 23:19, and also a stage play “The Apocalypse”. In 2023 he released his first independent film Don't hate Celebrate.

 

Pastor Tony Hayes desires to influence the world with a message of Christ in his books, films, and music. He enjoys speaking to people on current issues. God brought him out of the darkness, and so Pastor Tony Hayes charges himself with giving back through administering positive messages. Tony Hayes desires to point the youth and others in the right direction, so the music, writing, and preaching is there to educate them and let them know that there is a better way through Christ.
